Gemeinhardt Flutes
Gemeinhardt has been making flutes for decades for young flutists. Their website includes fingering diagrams, information on choosing a step-up instrument, and other valuable resources.
Hutto ISD Bands Website
This is the web home of the Hutto ISD Bands. Pictures, audio files, announcements, video, and much more is available on this site. Usernames and passwords are available through the band office at each campus.
Longhorn Music Camp
This summer music camp is hosted by the University of Texas at Austin. Students participating in these 1-week camps will have the opportunity to work with a number of music educators who are leaders in their field while making friendships with students from all over the state of Texas with similar interests. UT offers campers an on-campus and a commuter option.

Smartmusic
Smartmusic is the practice software we employ in our band program. We encourage all MS band members who are able to do so to use this software at home. Annual subscriptions are $25, available through the Smartmusic website. Our school code is: HUTTOBAND
Tales from Band Camp
Amy Brown has taken the term "Band Geek" to the extreme, creating a website with her own published cartoons (now available for purchase in a book collection), and message boards where band students can ask each other for advice on everything from practicing tips to leadership roles in the band.

Vic Firth is the maker of many fine percussion instruments. Their website contains mini-lessons and other educational material geared at young percussionists.
Vincent Bach
The Vincent Bach Company, now owned by Conn-Selmer, has been producing the world's finest brass instruments for approximately 80 years. Their website is a valuable resource for dating their trumpets and trombones by serial number, as well as for finding some valuable educational information for young brass students.
